I had the worst experience with this vendor as well at the farmers market and after reading reviews I realize I’m not alone. While I was taking photos of her flowers my friend was speaking to this vendor, and she immediately stopped answering my friend’s questions and said no photo shoot. We were confused because there were no people in our photos. We stopped taking the photos and she stopped answering my friend’s questions even after putting our camera away. I am so confused at why we aren’t allowed to take photos when we clearly are also trying to support her business by buying flowers. It was really unkind of her to act this way when taking photos is actually promoting her business and clearly there are no rules of not taking photos within the farmers market or just in general in public spaces. She’s so rude and a reason that I would not attend this farmers market again. I support local businesses and understand that vendors work hard, but basic courtesy and professionalism should be part of the experience too.

Ruby’s Run Urban Farm is an absolute gem at the Sechelt Farmers Market! Every Saturday, Michelle & Paul create the most stunning display of flowers and produce—it’s clear how much love and care they put into their work. Their bouquets are vibrant and beautifully arranged, and their farm-fresh veggies are some of the best I’ve ever tasted. I deeply respect their thoughtful approach to their business, including their decision to handle their own marketing and photos. It’s part of what makes the stall feel so intentional and curated—they want their products presented with the same care they give to growing them. I have found both Michelle and Paul to be warm, kind, and deeply committed to their craft. Their customers are loyal for good reason: they offer quality, integrity, and beauty in everything they do. If you’re at the market, don’t miss stopping by Ruby’s Run—you’ll leave inspired and with something truly special in your hands.

Part of my weekend ritual is to visit the Sechelt Farmer Market. Of course, my walk through and purchasing would not be complete without a visa it to Ruby’s Run farm stand. The flower bouquets are magnificent - the best ever! The produce like tomatoes, potatoes, strawberries, onions and garlic are sooooo good! Michelle and Paul are wonderful people who bring great product to market. It’s definitely worth your time to stop by and get some flowers and produce!

One of my favourite things about the Coast is going to Ruby’s Run and buying the most gorgeous bouquets, the sweetest tomatoes, the best garlic and Walla Walla onions and the bags of mixed greens - everything they grow is simply amazing. And the owners are such kind and generous people, clearly passionate about growing beautiful flowers and delicious produce!

Tried to phone these guys but they just answer and hang up without saying anything. Business must be too good and don’t need anymore customers.
