Coastal Markets (and our other “Coastal” sites) is all about community… Since coming to the Sunshine Coast, BC in 2012 and taking up residence in Gibsons, BC, we’ve seen the tight-knit, “locals helping locals”, friendly community that permeates the entire length of the Sunshine Coast from Langdale through to Earls Cove/Egmont (and beyond).
The Coastal Markets community resource website is an online list or catalogue of farmstands, farmer’s markets, farmsteads, and working farms websites. That is, it is a directory of all the great places along the British Columbia Sunshine Coast that produce & sell produce, fruits/vegetables, meats, eggs, cheeses, honey, and canned/prepared foods such as jams/jellies/condiments and more.
Coastal Markets directory is a simple to use, and easy way to locate the best farms, farm stands and farmers’ markets near you. You can locate them simply by finding your area on the front page map, hovering over the pins and selecting the market or farm or stand you wish to learn about OR you can do a search for your area in the search form just below the map OR you can simply browse through the many listings directly on the listings pages.
