My husband and I visited Farm Ventures on May 4th, and honestly, we had a beyond-expectation experience. It was a little difficult to find at first because there were limited signs. After parking, the entrance even made me wonder if we were in the wrong place. But the moment we entered the farm, it felt like paradise. The animals were roaming freely across a huge open field, which made the whole experience feel even more natural and peaceful. I absolutely love animals, and they had so many different kinds. What I appreciated most was that this was not just a chaotic petting zoo where everyone runs around touching animals. The experience was very informative, private, organized, and respectful toward the animals. Our guide, Soheil, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, kind, and passionate. The entire animal interaction experience was honestly 10/10, and all the animals looked very well cared for. We also booked horseback riding. Originally, we booked the 15 minute ride online, but when we arrived, Bette-Lyn (the owner) explained that they only offer the 40 minute ride. It was little odd and I was a little worried because I knew the price would increase, but we decided to go for it anyway. Riding through the woods with the staffs guiding us was such a peaceful and memorable experience. The only downside was the payment process. When I booked online, the total for 2 entrance fees and 2 people for the 15 minute horseback riding was supposed to be $102, and I had already prepaid $40. At the end of the tour, we were asked to pay an additional $160, which would have made the total $200. I had to explain that I had already paid $40 online. It seemed difficult for them to track payments because they were recording everything manually on paper instead of using a computer system. After clarifying, the price was adjusted, and in the end, we paid $180 total including tip ($20), 2 adult entrance fees and 2 people for the 40 minute horseback riding. Even though it ended up costing more than expected, we still had a wonderful time, and I would absolutely go back and recommend Farm Ventures to friends and family. Overall, it was a very special experience.
We had a great time on the farm tour with our family. Being able to meet and interact with the rabbits, chickens, emus, horse, pigs, and dogs was definitely the highlight. You can tell the animals are well cared for, and everyone was friendly and welcoming, especially our Tour Guide Soheil. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun family outing.
We had the most amazing farm experience with our three boys. Bette, the owner, has such a big and kind heart for the animals—she loves them like her own. We walked away feeling as though the animals were our friends. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the experience: petting the rabbits and cats, holding the chickens, and talking to the horse and rabbits. All of her animals are incredibly friendly. The kids also went on a 45-minute horse ride, which they loved so much that they said they want to come back again. Bette is a truly lovely host who gives her all to ensure guests have the best possible experience. I highly recommend this farm tour to anyone. You’ll walk away with an experience you never knew existed.
Such a cute family farm and semi-private tour! We had a great time with our 6 adults and toddler. Soheil was really great, let us have lots of time in each of the animal areas. Thank you!
My sisters and I went with my 1.5 year old daughter and 2.5 year old niece. It was a lot of fun and the kids loved it! It was great to be able to really immerse yourself with the animals. The kids loved feeding the horses, donkey, goat, chickens, llampaca, and the smiling pig. They looooved getting to sit, cuddle and feed the bunnies especially the baby bunnies. I was impressed by the diversity of animals that were in the farm and you can tell the animals are well loved. I’d definitely recommend checking it out!
